Eli T. Hoyt, was a 30 year old resident of Algansee, Michigan, when he enlisted on Aug. 24, 1861, at Coldwater, Mi., as a private, and mustered into Co. H, 11th Michigan Infantry. He was promoted to corporal, July 1, 1864; sergeant, Aug. 16, 1865; and mustered out of service, Sept. 16, 1865, at Nashville, Tenn.
