This very shapely Victorian rocker has a cornicopia design woven into the back, framed by plaited braiding and loop work. The rocker is asymetrical in design with a serpentine roll off-set by a twist-wrapped finial, curlicues, and figure eight reed-work forming the back. Set in cane seat. Front skirting consists of two types of weaving framed by a plaited braiding ending in curlicues. This rare Victorian wicker rocker retains its original natural finish. |
