Antique Ornate Early Victorian Wicker Ladies Arm Chair
This is a very ornate antique Victorian wicker ladies arm chair. It has elaborate fancy reed-work and bead-work. Fancy hand caned back panels framed by panels of bead-work and figure eight designs. The arms are cane-wrapped in fancy patterns. The back posts have birdcage designs and fancy twist-wrapped balls. The seat is a set in cane seat that has a very thick wood seat frame that is decorated with bead-work. The skirting is a lovely configuration of heavy reed curlicues. The cane wrapped splayed legs are adorned with birdcage work and fancy twist-wrapped balls ending in brass caps.
