Rare Arts and Crafts style floor lamp signed "Handel" on both inside of shade and the base. The large 26" shade has a metal overlay forest scene with reverse painted houses in the background. An identical shade is shown on page 77 of "Metal Overlays by Handel" by Robert Defalco. The base is very similar to examples shown on pages 49, 56 and 61 of "The Handel Lamps Book" by Carole Goldman Hibel and John Hibel. The top has five original bulb sockets and chains. This lamp is in great original condition. It is a wonderful example of Handel's work! Circa: 1910 Dimensions: 65"H x 26"Diameter of shade Finish: Glass is all original.
