Gorgeous Large Signed Pittsburgh Lamp with matching shade and base.
The shade has six caramel curved slag panels and six lavender blue base panels with
the original cap, top finial, and pull chains. There is wonderful open metal work with
trees, a post & railing bridge, and water birds. This delicate work is in amazing original
condition. We only see one tiny beak of a bird missing.
The heavy base has water lilies and
foliage all the way up the stem. The previous owner drilled four small holes underneath
the base to hold on the bottom metal plate. The little ends of the screws come through
(see photo). Under the bottom plate the base is signed "P L." The lamp artistically depicts
a lovely, peaceful water scene accentuated by the blue slag glass.
