Great style solid rosewood Renaissance Revival Victorian
ladies and gent's chairs. Each chair has an intricately open carved crest
with a round medallion in the middle with inlay. The entire frame of each
chair is decorated with multi - colored inlays (some of this has been
restored). Carved rosettes, original gilt incised carvings and claw feet
enhance the design of the frames.

The chairs are covered in an old velvet
fabric. The quality and style of these chairs are indicative of the work of
Pottier & Stymus, NYC, however, the chairs are not signed and we can't make
a definitive attribution. They are of superb quality and design!
