Manufacturer: American Ceramics Products
Lovely J. Norton & Co. three gallon jar with a wonderful
cobalt blue decoration and handles on the sides. The jar is in good
original condition with brown glaze on the interior. The outer cream
colored glaze has some discoloration (see photos). Julius Norton did his
work between 1839-1843. Because he only worked for a few years and being
one of the earliest potters of this type, his work is highly prized by
collectors. We had this great piece of early country Victorian in our
personal collection for over 20 years!

Finish: Blue decoration is in good original shape - background has some brown
