Fabulous matched pair of Victorian solid Rosewood Armchairs
with lovely open pierced carved floral crest. The chair frame is decorated
from top to bottom with deep spiral ribbon carvings on the perimeter. The
arms have beautifully carved griffin heads with open mouths, carved teeth,
and tongues. The chair features exquisitely carved and shaped feet with more
incredible floral carvings on the chair apron. The front feet have the
original brass castors. They are covered in an old fabric.
