Rare pair of early twentieth century brass andirons signed "B & H 9512." An identical pair can be seen in the Smithsonian Institution Castle Collection of fire tools and andirons at Smithsonian Institution web sight. The pair that we have is in brass with iron fire dogs whereas the ones in the collection are all iron. They have a very attractive design. Bradley and Hubbard from Meriden Connecticut was one of the foremost turn of the century creators of unusual brass designs along with their exceptional lamp offerings.
