Elegant Rosewood Jewelry Box with vertical serpentine shape
sides, nicely molded base, and top with center molded plinth. Two sides have
brass loop handles. The interior has been done over very well within the last 50 years
with a lined insert, mirror, and delicate gilt framing. The lock is filled. The finish
of the wood is a light and smooth French polish. This lovely accessory may
be English in origin.
