Gorgeous large walnut Renaissance Revival Victorian jewelers wall regulator clock attributed to Kroeber. It has a metal box movement with large porcelain dial, sweep second hand, brass weight, and large lyre pendulum. We believe the case was made by Kroeber. It has a fancy crest with top finial and a head in the middle flanked by two raised shaped burled panels. There are double carvings on each side of the door. The glass on the door is original and has the original gold decoration with "Regulator" printed in the middle. The base has a burled panel with open carving (replaced) just under the door. The top and bottom finials are old replacements. Most of the jewelers regulators that we come across are Eastlake - later Victorian. This is an elegant and stylish clock from a slightly earlier period! Circa: 1870 Dimensions: 86"H x 21"W x 9.5"D Finish: Good original Price: $13,950.00
