One of the most gracefully carved small early Victorian rosewood tables we have offered! Surprisingly heavy and very unusual shaped original bevel edged marble with corresponding shaped apron. The hanging apron carvings have been restored and there is one small repair to base carving. The base is delicately formed with a shaped center post and tapered curved scrolled carvings all around that lean against it. There are four lovely scrolled feet with the original center base finial. This fine table may well have been made by J & JW Meeks, New York City who made exquisite transitional Classical/Victorian furniture in the mid 1800's. Circa: 1855 Dimensions: 29" H x 30 1/2" W x 21" D Finish: Good original Price: $3495.00
