Fine quality Renaissance Revival walnut Victorian sewing stand. The top is all burled. It has two top drawers with segmented birdseye (great indication of quality) maple interiors. The top drawer opens with a key. The second drawer has a carved wooden pull (some minor damage where it meets the drawer surface). Beneath that is a rounded deep drawer that would have been used to store the thread. It has a incised carved "handle" in front. The open carved sides feature raised burled panels and incised panels.
