Very clean all original walnut Victorian commode. It features a lovely original white rounded corner marble with high curved back and horizontal shelf with supports. There are two small stains in an otherwise flawless marble. The top drawer has two bookmatched raised burled panels, original teardrop pulls, and a fancy carved key escutcheon. There are raised burled panels on the doors and two off set shelves in the interior of the cupboard (see photo). Years ago these used to be fairly plentiful but we have not been able to find any in this nice original condition to offer for sale in the last couple of years.
