Lovely birdseye maple faux bamboo Victorian vanity. The original beveled mirror has an elaborate supporting structure with bamboo turnings and circles in the base and the returns. There are two drawers on top over a longer drawer - each with original wooden pulls. There is a slight stain on the surface. The legs and cross stretchers are all made of faux bamboo. Notice how the side panels, mirror frame, and drawer fronts are all decorated with quarter round bamboo turnings. Most of such pieces were made by R.J. Horner, NYC but there is no label on this one. The style is highly prized by collectors!
