Beautiful Set of Six Outstanding Victorian Walnut Gothic
Chairs with shaped burl and delicate incised carvings. There are two
massive armchairs with great open pierced carved backs and ornate
shaped top finials. The side chairs are a smaller version of the armchairs.
We added front casters which make the height appropriate for dining.

Three of the chairs had small metal plates on the back which left
a slight shadow (see photo). The finish is the fine original varnish and
the upholstery is old. These chairs could be used in a parlor or they
also would make incredible dining chairs!
