Fine mahogany late Victorian square center table made by Merklen Co, NYC. This table has a quarter round edge around each of the two surfaces and very bold rope turned legs. Each of the corners has a brass head with a ring in its mouth. The brass claw feet each clutch a wooden ball - a feature found with Merklen tables.
