Fabulous fifteen piece set of sterling silver. The set consists of six tazzas, eight small plates and one serving plate. This was likely used as a serving set with each of the pieces having a recessed center. The outside edges of each piece have a very fancy reticulated floral border with lovely incising and a monogram in the middle. This set is extremely fine quality and heavy. The set was made by "J. E Caldwell, Philadelphia." One plate has the inscription "1897-1911." They are part of an important collection of sterling silver from an estate in Chatham, Massachusetts.
