Ninety nine piece set of Gorham "Melrose" pattern silver in a lovely mahogany silver case. The silver was made c1950 and consists of twelve soups, dinner forks, salad forks, knives and butter knives; eight demitasse spoons, eighteen teaspoons and thirteen assorted serving pieces (shown in photo). The case has a presentation brass plaque dated "1899" on the top. It was retailed by A.A. Webster & Company, Brooklyn, NYC. It did not originally come with the silver but the two lots make a wonderful combination!
