Rare Aesthetic rosewood Victorian sofa attributed to Herter
Bros, NYC. There is a band of intricate inlay around the entire frame.
The base has incised carvings with much of the original gilt decoration.
The original castors with brass ring are on the front feet. It was
reupholstered by the previous owner.
