Fabulous Art Nouveau four panel folding screen. Each of the
panels has a hand painted floral motif on canvas one of which is signed by
the artist "M L Mayon" (see photo). There were some small holes in two of
the panels which we had professionally repaired. One painting has a drip stain that we could not remove. The walnut frame is of
fine quality design and construction. There is carving on the base of each
panel. The original brass hinges allow the panels to swing in both
direction. Probably of European origin. A lovely decorative piece from the
early 20th century!
