Lovely walnut Victorian etagere with an original shaped marble
on the bottom. The magnificent crest is open carved with fruit and flower.
There are three graduated shaped shelves on each side of the central triple
arched mirror. The shelves are held up by cutout supports and spindles and
have mirrors behind the top two. There is a serpentine shaped drawer on the
bottom with a carved pull. This piece retains much of it's original gilt
highlights. We seldom see the gilt on etageres. There is a slight crack
in the bottom center panel. A very fancy and graceful piece of modest size
and proportions!
