Beautiful Rococo Victorian walnut folding card table signed by
"Edward Hixon & Co, Washington St, Boston." This piece has a shaped skirt
with carvings and raised shaped burled panels. The elegant cabriole legs
are tapered and have carvings at the tops. We had a gold tooled leather
installed in the top inside the burled border. There are some slight
variations in the gold border on the leather. This table can be used either
as a half round console or unfolded into a round card table. There are
slots in the drawer to hold the cards. This is a great piece of signed
Victorian furniture in excellent original condition!
