Rosewood Rococo Victorian etagere attributed to Joseph Meeks,
NYC. This is a gorgeous piece in unbelievably fine original finish and
condition. It has a very ornate open carved crest with turned finials on
the ends. Each of the six shelves is beautifully shaped and has an ornate
open carved back. There is a drawer in the middle. The shelf supports are
open carved on the sides and the base has cabriole legs with carvings.
Meeks oftentimes used this fine open carved decoration on his pieces.
