Wonderful three piece carved quartered oak parlor suite. The suite consists of a large sofa and two large armchairs. Each piece has well defined three dimensional lion heads on the arms and claw feet in front and rear. The frames are entirely carved on all sides. These pieces are of great quality and very heavy. Unlike much upholstered furniture from this period they are comfortable to sit in and built to take substantial use. The fabric was probably put on about forty years ago and has some staining. The frames are sturdy and in good shape. This is a very difficult item to find in oak!
