Lovely Victorian French Sevres center piece Lovely Victorian French Sevres center piece. The ovoid bowl
is decorated with a gentleman courting a lady on one side and a pond with
trees on the other. There are flowers painted in the interior and each
scene is beautifully frames with raised gilt paint. The front painting is
signed by the artist "W. Gravey." The bowl is bronze mounted with child
figures for the handles. It has the makers mark on the bottom. A fine
quality exquisite piece!

Porcelain & Silver Demitasse Set Fabulous Victorian boxed porcelain and sterling silver
demitasse set. The set consists of twelve cups and saucers, a sterling
teapot, creamer and sugar, sugar tongs and twelve demitasse spoons all in
the original case. The case and sterling pieces are signed "Bartens & Rice,
NYC." The porcelain has a mark which is similar to one in pattern #61 in
Porcelain Marks of the World by Emanuel Poche. The maker is
"Niedersalzbrunn." We have wonderful documentation that accompanies this
set. It was given as a 50th wedding anniversary gift to Mr. & Mrs. John
Bogert of Brooklyn, NY in 1891. The silver pieces are dated and monogrammed
with their initials and we have photos of them along with the invitation to
the anniversary party. Two of the saucers have small flaws. Generally, the
set is in fabulous original condition - probably seldom used. It is
fantastic quality with great provenance - an untouched gem from the
Victorian era!

Handpainted Two Part Limoges Punch Bowl Lovely Handpainted Two Part Limoges Punch Bowl and
Stand with beautifully painted hanging fruit (peaches) and raised gold trim
all around the outside of the bowl. The inside of the bowl has a pretty
floral design with soft colored flowers and the shaped footed base retains its
brilliant
gold on the fine scrolled shaped. The bowl is signed "T & V, Limoges, France"
and signed by the artist "Harriet K. Ryder 1909." Curiously, the base is
signed the same Limoges mark and "HKR 1910" - the same artists initials but the
following year, perhaps this was a project she did during the holidays
of 1909!
