A Victorian period heavily carved teak stand A Victorian period heavily carved teak stand with inset red
marble top probably Chinese origin. This extra fine example has a carved
rim around the marble and a very intricate open carved skirt. There are
carved heads on the legs which end in claw feet. The teak wood is very
similar in beauty and grain to rosewood. There are a few age separations in
the joints in the frame around the marble top. A beautiful table!

Gorgeous marquetry mahogany table Gorgeous marquetry late Victorian mahogany table with lovely
turtle shaped top and serpentine shaped sides made by "Flint & Horner, NYC."
The top and skirt feature extensive floral inlay with mother-of-pearl
accents. The graceful cabriole legs have fancy brass appliqué at the top
and bottom. There is also a band of brass beading running around the top.
There is an original label on the bottom.

Rococo Victorian folding card table Beautiful Rococo Victorian walnut folding card table signed by
"Edward Hixon & Co, Washington St, Boston." This piece has a shaped skirt
with carvings and raised shaped burled panels. The elegant cabriole legs
are tapered and have carvings at the tops. We had a gold tooled leather
installed in the top inside the burled border. There are some slight
variations in the gold border on the leather. This table can be used either
as a half round console or unfolded into a round card table. There are
slots in the drawer to hold the cards. This is a great piece of signed
Victorian furniture in excellent original condition!

Rare form rosewood Rococo table Rare form rosewood Rococo Victorian marble top console table with serpentine front and heavily carved skirt. The cabriole legs have carvings on the top and feet. A delicately carved finial is set in the middle of the C scroll stretchers. The C scrolls were a favorite of John Henry Belter and this possibly could have been made by his shop. The finely shaped original marble has a shaped edge all around distinguishing this piece from an etagere base. The back is also finished.

A wide array of different colored marble specimens were used in the top to create a very rich appearance. The skirt has gold incised floral decoration. The base has both applied and incised carvings along with fluting. All of these are decorated with gold and black decoration. A square spindled gallery surrounds the base finial. There has been some restoration to the base.
