"Globe-Wernicke Co. Cincinnati, OH." Ten of the sections form a corner.
The left side of the bookcase has normal width section while the right side

sections of each unit are 8 1/4"H. The bottom and second sections are 12
1/4"H and 10 1/4"H respectively. There is a corner piece that locks in
between the two bookcases so there is not gap showing. This is a very rare
and desirable form for sectional bookcases. The ensemble also includes a
three section graduated sectional bookcase in the more unusual smaller
width. Each of these units has a curved top and bottom with a drawer and
original brass pulls. Furthermore, each of the thirteen sections have the
original leaded glass doors in excellent condition. There is a slight stain

Floral Marquetry Pedestal Conference Table Magnificent mahogany double pedestal Victorian conference table. The shaped top has a line inlay around the outside with a stunning floral marquetry center. There is a vase in the center from which the flowers flow. A pair of winged serpents with bird heads and a dark face are below the vase. The claws and eyes are enhanced - possibly made of bone or ivory. There are two serpentine front drawers with original brass handles on both sides of this table. The skirt, pedestals and platform base all exhibit extensive marquetry. This table is extremely well made with oak and mahogany secondary woods - obviously very heavy. It sets on castors that are old but not original. From the quality of the construction and inlay we believe it was made by R. J. Horner, NYC but since we have never seen another like this we can not make a firm attribution. This is a special table of spectacular beauty!
