Victorian wicker furniture. Perfect novelty gift for an expecting mother or
to display dolls!

231050

Sensational Rococo Victorian Swinging Cradle Sensational Rococo Victorian mahogany swinging cradle on
stand. It has a beautiful elegant curved frame with extensive floral
carvings. There is a top pediment at one end and brass hook at the other
that would have supported a valence that would have held a draped veil.
This could be recreated in the fabric of your choice. The cradle itself is
the most amazing wooden carved curved "bucket". It is held to the
frame with an original brass rod support at either end. A small wooden
wedge at one end can be swung down to keep the cradle from swinging. There
is old fabric in the base of the cradle with buttons. A fancy carved cross
stretcher supports the two ends. Several times each year we get a piece
that makes us say "Wow." This is one of those special one-of-a-kind
pieces!

Rare Collapsible Walnut Highchair Rare Collapsible Victorian Walnut Highchair that transforms into a stroller! When the front side knob is turned it releases the mechanism whereby the chair falls forward and then folds clicking into place as a stroller! We have had other collapsible highchairs before but not with this mechanism. We left the original caning on the back (which is in fine condition) and on the seat (which is punctured as can be seen in the photo). The chair has a lovely shield back with burl and a shaped tray with release mechanism and brass fitting. What a delightful example of Victorian imagination and ingenuity!

Victorian Rosewood Swinging Cradle Early Victorian rosewood swinging cradle. The sides are made
of fancy shaped rosewood slats. The cradle has a stop that holds it in place
when necessary. The finials on each end are made out of oak and are not
original to the piece. Slats or a piece of plywood could be placed in the
bottom to hold the mattress. Caution: We recommend that a child not be
left in this piece without adult supervision. Furniture safety standards in
the mid 1850's were not as stringent as they are today. A great quality
cradle!

281044

Walnut Victorian Mechanical High Chair Neat walnut Victorian mechanical high chair. This piece can
convert into a stroller or rocking chair. It was originally caned. The
fabric that is on it was put on at a later time. We could have it redone in
the fabric of your choice for an additional charge. The back has the patent
date 1876 (see photo). By flipping the tray over this can be used later as
a youth chair. Our two children used a similar chair when they were little.
A great conversation piece - and fun too!

Very high style Eastlake walnut cradle Very high style Eastlake walnut Victorian cradle. The top of
both the head and foot board is decorated with a burled rolling pin. There
is a carved finial at each end. Carved buttons, carved and burled panels
and spool turned supports enhance the design of both ends. The sides each
have a row of open carved slats over a horizontal burled panel. One of the
sides is latched and can swing down for easy access to the baby. The cradle
can rock back and forth or small metal stops on one end can be dropped down

mattress (Ok for displaying dolls but obviously would have to be replaced if
used for a child). This is the best Eastlake style crib we have had!
