frames. They have the original gilt incised carvings in each corner of the
frame. The interior has a double gilt liner frames by black. The inner
liner is arched and the outer one has a fancy design. Each of the early
photographs is signed and dated "1872." A wonderful pair of pictures!

Daguerrotype Rosewood Portrait Frame Very Rare Victorian Rosewood Portrait Frame that holds
the daguerrotypes of
(probably) four brothers. Each portrait is individual in a gold tin
type border with tiny flowers
and beading. The frame is exquiste with a gentle ogee shape around
the perimeter and original
back boards. Two of the photos have some discoloration indicative
of their age. This is a
rare and poignant relic from the Victorian era.
