Very Rare Green Cut to Pink Glass Pitcher Extremely rare cut glass pitcher with sterling silver spout.
The pitcher is cut green to pink. The pink color is extremely difficult to
find in cut glass. In "American Brilliant Cut Glass" by Bill and Louse
Boggess there is the following passage on page 14 "Anyone owning a piece
of American colored-cut-to-clear glass has a true treasure, for the
prohibitive cost soon curtailed its production. A collector who has done
considerable research on this glass is convinced that colored cut glass
actually rated as a hobby with the company or glass cutter." We have never
heard of another piece of glass that was cut-to-pink. This was obviously a
presentation piece with a copper wash over the sterling spout and initials
engraved in the top. "Sterling and other metals J E Caldwell & Co." is on
the back of the sterling rim. They were Philadelphia jewelers. The front
of the spout is engraved "June 27th, 1901." This is the best and rarest
piece of cut glass we have ever offered for sale!

with Unusual Arched Frame.The top section of the frame resembles a
tiara that arches over the amber glass jar that has enamel decorated with
colorful flowers and insects. The round base is supported by four feet that
have faces and flowers (a tiny leaf is missing on the upper frame).

Brilliant Cut Glass Signed Ice Cream Set Brilliant Cut Glass Signed Ice Cream Set with
ten matching small dishes. The tray is very heavy and nicely
shaped with cut scalloped edges that lift at the ends. It is
signed with a star in a circle in the center which is the signature
of L. Straus & Sons, New York. We rarely find the whole
set and this is a wonderful example of American Victorian era brilliant
cut glass!
