Brass and Onyx Victorian Etagere Gorgeous Victorian brass and onyx etagere. There are four
large onyx finials with fancy brass tops and reddish tones above the top
shelf. Two offset onyx shelves are in front of two original rectangular
beveled mirrors (some silver loss to mirrors). Six quarter round shelves
are supported by round onyx columns with brass fittings. Some of these
columns have had some chips that have been repaired. There is open brass
filigree under four of the shelves. There originally was also matching
filigree under the bottom two shelves but the etagere is fancy enough so
their absence is barely noticed. This is one of the best brass and onyx
etageres we have offered for sale!

Brooks Rosewood Etagere Elegant rosewood Victorian etagere signed (in three places) by
Thomas Brooks, New York City. The top has an ornate carved crest with
shaped raised panels and four finials on the sides. Under the crest is a
concaved shaped faceted hood with a shell carving in the middle. There are
three shaped shelves on either side of the central mirror. These are held
up by fancy turned supports and have laminated pierce carvings on the bottom
of each shelf. A mirror is behind each of the shelves. An original white
marble sits on the base. The bottom has a serpentine front drawer and
cupboard door with mirror. There is a shelf on each side of the base along
with applied carvings. Notice the lovely satinwood secondary wood in the
drawer - a sure sign of quality and craftsmanship. This piece has the
original cast brass key. All of the mirrors are original with only slight
silver loss. This is your chance to own a spectacular Victorian etagere by
one of the best NYC makers of the period!

Graceful Walnut Etagere Cabinet Graceful Victorian Walnut Etagere Cabinet with a gorgeous open pierced
carved crest with center medallion and original gilt incising. Notice the carved finials with
acorn tips. The tiered top section has it's four original shaped mirrors (slight loss to silvering
from age), cookie corner white marble, and hanging incised carvings from each shelf. (couple
slight stains on shelves) The cupboard base has elaborate carvings on the doors and delicately
turned carvings on the side stiles and even on the back side edges. This pretty piece is useful
for storage and display and would make a lovely side bar.

Sweet Little Brass and Onyx Etagere Sweet little Victorian brass etagere with four lovely square original colored onyx shelves. The top has a shaped beveled mirror. There is fancy open brass work above the mirror with a winged angel at the top. It also features a number of round onyx finials with brass fittings. It rests on claw feet with a face just above the claw. This is an especially attractive small size shelf!

George W. Ware Fancy Rococo Walnut Etagere Fancy Rococo walnut Victorian walnut etagere made by George W. Ware and Company, Boston, MA. A grape, nut, and leaf carved crest is flanked by two open carved fretwork panels. The arched original mirror has three graduated shaped shelves on each side. The shelves are held up by round
turn spindles with carved finials at the top. The back frame is all open
carved. There has been some repair to the bottom carved panel. A
serpentine shaped drawer with carved pull on the bottom has a conforming
original marble top. This piece is shown on page 92 of "Styles of American
Furniture 1860-1960" by Eileen and Richard Dubrow. A very attractive
etagere!

extensive carvings over the entire flowing shape of the frame including a
wonderful open carved crest. There are four mirrors and three shelves with
fancy carved supports on each side of the original central mirror. The base
has a serpentine shaped front drawer with knob pulls and applied carvings.
The interior of the drawer is satinwood. A gorgeous original fossilized
marble sets on the base. This marble has been professionally repaired.

piece has the original "faux rosewood" grain. It is unusual to find
pieces with this grain still in good shape. The top portion has four
