Majestic Rococo Turtle Marble Center Table Majestic Large Victorian Walnut Marble Top Turtle Top Table
with the original very heavy slab white marble top with unusual gray
vein hues. The beautifully shaped apron has beautiful thick three dimensional carvings
with scrolling, flowers and leaves. The finger carved curved legs have life
size fruit and nut carvings. The gracefully shaped four part stretcher base
has a robust center finial with acorn top. This handsome table is in fine original
finish and condition. It is an exceptional example of American Victorian
Rococo era craftsmanship.

High Style Carved Burl Panel Table Very high style Renaissance Revival walnut Victorian center
table with a heavy thick original white marble top (some staining to
marble). The skirt, legs and base are beautifully decorated with raised
shaped burled panels, elaborate carvings, fluted panels and carved rosettes.
A lovely carved finial sits in the middle of the skirt and the table rests on four

Lovely Rope Carved Mahogany Center Table Lovely mahogany center table with an unusual low size. It has a beautifully shaped
skirt with a rope carved molding on the bottom edge. The center pedestal
flares out towards the base and has a dramatic serpentine shape on each side
with carvings between. The stand sits on four intricately carved claw feet.

Elegant Jeliff Parlor Suite Elegant Victorian Walnut Two Piece Jeliff Parlor Suite with
large open carved crests that have very well done three dimensional Jenny Lind
heads, shaped raised burl with incising, and delicate carvings. The arms
have beautifully carved women heads (slightly different details on the sofa
and chair, indicative of the individual craftsmanship). There are three sections across
the back of the sofa with more open pierced carvings that connect the sections.
The front aprons are gently curved with burl and more carvings in the centers
with nicely turned and tapered feet. The upholstery is old but quite usable and the wood patina is warm, rich, and original. This set has very
graceful lines, exceptional carvings throughout, and the frames are sturdy
for everyday use.

Most Unusual Shaped Oak Settee Most unusual shaped settee in oak. There are four fruit
carved finials on the top. The entire frame is beautifully carved. Motifs
include flowers, claw feet, a carved face on the front of the skirt and even
carved snakes curling around each of the front legs. (A couple of chips in
the back claw feet have since been professionally restored since the photos
were taken). The fabric is old. We could have it reupholstered in your

Fantastic Mahogany Merklen NYC Center Table Fantastic Victorian mahogany center table attributed to Merklen Co, NYC. This company was noted for the "magical" way they were able to fit a wooden ball inside a brass foot. This piece features two magnificent massive rope turned columns holding up the top. Both of the horizontal surfaces have a quarter rope molding going around the edge. The base has huge ball in claw feet. One of the better tables by Merklen! There is a lovely band of carving around the edge of
the top. The center post has a fluted, turned, and carved pedestal with
three cutout decorations. There are three legs with extensive carvings and
claw feet. A fine quality stand!

Ebonized Aesthetic Pedestal with Curio Cabine Fabulous ebonized Aesthetic Victorian pedestal with curio
cabinet in the middle. The skirt has repetitive incised carvings with a
square painted tile in the middle of each side. There is a door on the
right side with fancy brass strap hinges. The door, front and other side
all have thick beveled glass. There is a mirror in back and a single plate
glass shelf. The sides feature carvings on the top and bottom with a long
horizontal pottery panel between. The legs have incised carvings. We
believe the tiles with the Japanese motif were made by Longwy Co. England.
They were famous for there Victorian tiles in this pattern. They were
probably imported by the manufacturer to put into this piece. An exciting
and rare piece of Victorian furniture.

Rare Birdseye Maple Carved Lamp Table Rare birdseye maple turn of the century lamp table. It has a curved skirt with fancy carvings on both sides. The gentle cabriole legs have carvings at the top and bottom. Fancy curved and carved supports hold up the middle shelf. We often get such tables in oak or mahogany but seldom see them in birdseye. The grain is lovely!

Lovely American Painted Curio Cabinet Lovely American made French style curio cabinet. This piece
has a fancy open work brass gallery around the top. There is a top crest in
the middle of the front (this was original on the bottom but looks good
where it has been put). This piece has ornate brass ormolu around each of
the bowed glasses and is applied to the case and feet. There is a painted
courtship scene in the front bottom and a lake scene on each side. It has
one glass shelf and a full mirrored back. A gorgeous cabinet to display a
collection of smaller items!

Fine Merklen Brass Claw Foot Table A fine rectangular cherry late Victorian center table signed "From Prov. Furniture Co, The New England......" We believe that this table was made by Merklen Co, NYC and was probably retailed by this other company. It has a quarter rope molding around each of the horizontal surfaces and fine rope turned legs. There is a brass head with a ring in the mouth in each corner. It has brass claw feet holding a wooden ball - a feature normally associated with Merklen Co.

High Style Griffin Tete a Tete Incredible High Style Victorian Mahogany Winged Griffin Tete a Tete
in the original finish and very old upholstery. The griffins take on a comical air with wide
open mouths with teeth and furrowed, deeply carved brows. The wings are very well
done with delicate etchings, thick open scroll carvings on the sides and exceptional
carved feet, even with toenails. The piece is framed with two beautifully framed and carved
plaques with scrolling and leaves on both sides. There is more fine detail on the side
supports and apron, all in keeping with the wonderful quality throughout. We can get
a quote on reupholstering for an extra charge, as needed. This is a form we have never
