Rococo Mirror with Outstanding Carvings Exquisite Victorian Rococo Walnut Over the Mantel Mirror with some of the
best original carvings of this type we have seen! The top crest is almost a foot high and is all
open pierced carved with leaves, ribbons, fruits, and nuts. Notice how the connecting carvings are stylized notched branches. The corresponding side carvings have more fruits and grape clusters. The carvings are all highlighted with the original gilt which is in superb condition with only slight age loss and excellent original patination. The perimeter of the frame is deeply finger carved. The back retains the old wooden back boards.

Pretty Celluloid Collar Box Pretty Art Nouveau Celluloid Collar Box in fine original
condition. The top depicts a young woman observing an artist painting
a vase. Iris and foliage make up the front and side borders. The inside
has the original fabric and although dusty and worn from age it is usable. There
is a small water stain on the front edge of the lid. This is a very attractive
accessory with the original stamped brass front latch

Walnut Plaque Girl with Flowers Circular walnut hanging plaque with a three dimensional girl's head
on a thickly scrolled back. The girl's expression is rather perplexed as though she is
watching over something. She is looking down and not pleased about it either!
There is excellent detail to her hair and the flowers that are in it. It is possible that this carving was originally on a piece of furniture and long ago was put on this plaque. An exceptional piece of carving with unusual subject matter

Delightful Child's Horse and Carriage Delightful Child's Horse and Carriage with the original spoked wheels
and a lovely curled metal handle with fine center turning. The horse has a wooden head
(appears to be spruce or fir), glass eyes, and an open mouth with teeth on the top and
bottom of its open jaw. The body of the horse is covered in it's original brown and white
hide. It is hand sewn with some small tears, old mending, and small openings, indicative of its age. The carriage is like a small buckboard with a rounded back, tapered spindles, and curved foot rest (small age split in foot rest). The attachments for the handle show remnants of old
blue paint. Four small support brackets have been added underneath by a previous
owner. The leather bridle, ears, and other leathers straps have been replaced over the
years, along with hair for the mane and tail.
The horse is attached by a "U" shaped bracket that has a bar that connects
to the front wheel to make the horse "bob up and down" when the wheel turns!

Two Antique Dated Canes Two Fine Period Walking Canes in original finish and condition.
The gold shell one is etched with initials and dated June 30, '03 (there are
a couple slight age dents). The upper section is beautifully carved and
may be ebony.
The silver one is inscribed "Father from Charlie
1891" and appears to be sterling but there is no mark

American Indian Beaded Canteen Not the usual item for us to carry but this was too exquisite
to pass up! An American Indian beaded canteen or flask. The glass bottle
is obviously hand blown as it shows an uneven spout. The beadwork design
features a colorful double peacock and floral motif. The long strap has the
original fabric all decorated with beads. A most intriguing piece of Native
American art!

Pair Great Carved Walnut Shelves Great Matched Pair of Victorian Walnut Shelves with a bevel edge shaped top and three dimensional carvings of the leaves, nuts, and grapes. Bradley and Hubbard Lion Bookends Handsome pair of bronze patinated signed "B & H" bookends with
a beautifully executed lion's head on each. The lion is attached to the
back with a screw. The screw is exposed on one (see photo) but covered with
original patinated plug on the other. A heavy and attractive pair!

Aesthetic Victorian Corner Cabinet Cute little Aesthetic Victorian black lacquer hanging corner
cabinet. The front cupboard door has an inset original painting of a bird
and flowers on a gilt background. The top and bottom galleries have double
painted panels with a bird and roses on a gilt background. There are
turned spindles, ball finials, and a railing above and below the cupboard.

Small Oak Display Showcase Small Oak Original Finish Display Showcase with one adjustable plate
glass shelf (another shelf could be added). All of the sides are trimmed in oak with mitered
corners. The door in back is on the original hinges and opens for access. A large
hasp was installed by the previous owner for a lock (this could be removed). There
are a few other small holes on the edge of the door where locks have been in the past.
There is a mirror on the bottom that is a recent addition but fabric could also be put down there.
This pretty showcase is an unusual small size and easily portable.

Salesman's Sample Table w/ Five Leaves Rare round walnut Victorian salesman's sample dining table
with five original leaves and center leg. The skirt has a molding around
the bottom of the skirt. The split pedestal base has lovely shaped and
carved legs ending in original brass mini castors. There are chestnut table
slides, as you would expect in the full size table along with a turned
center leg. The five original leaves even come in their own leaf rack
complete with numbers. Small pieces of Victorian furniture were often
made by very skilled grandpa's for their offspring. This piece however, is a
true salesman's sample - factory made to scale. We have never had a table
like this before.

sample dining room table with three original leaves. The skirt is burled.

carved rosettes and acorn shaped finials. The table opens to accommodate

feet. It even has the original brass hooks that hold the two sides of the

William Jennings Bryan Tray William Jennings Bryan painted tray in nice original
condition. It is decorated on the edge with fancy scrolled trim and a handsome
portrait of Bryan who was the Democratic nominee for president in 1896.
He lived from 1860 to 1925. The tray is in the original paint with slight losses.
