Royal Worcester Porcelain Bird Serving Set Gorgeous fourteen piece Royal Worcester china bird serving
set. It includes twelve decorated plates, a platter, and a gravy boat. Each
piece, including both sides of the gravey boat, are decorated with a
different bird. The gravy boat and platter are unusual in that the actual
mold of the porcelain contains the form of an animal head. The platter has
birds on each end and the gravy has the shape of a cows head. There is a
pretty light brown pattern that borders each piece. A great quality set
with a most interesting form!

Royal Vienna Framed Charger Spectacular Royal Vienna Framed Charger in the original ornate gilt frame.
The hand painted charger depicts three semi nude maidens reclining after bathing at
the edge of a stream. The perimeter of the charger is a brilliant and varied cranberry red
with applied gold enamel with flowers and leaves. The artist signature is in script at the lower
right hand corner "Kauffmony" and the back is signed "Badende Nympfen" with the blue beehive
mark and "Austria" (see photos). The elaborate gilt frame is decorated with shell motifs in the corners, fruits and flowers around the interior, and is in remarkable original condition with just a couple tiny areas of old restoration. The combination of the dynamic colors of the charger, coupled with the elegant gilt frame, is truly stunning!

Emanuel Poche KPM Hand Painted Vase This signed "KPM" hand painted vase is one of the best pieces
of porcelain we have ever offered for sale. It features a folding fan vase
held up by two full figured cupids. The vase has floral decoration on both
the front and back. It is highlighted by intricate gold decoration. This
piece is in perfect condition. Even the fingers and toes of the cupids are
original and all there. The mark is identified in "Porcelain Marks of the
World" by Emanuel Poche in plate #1054 as "Berlin Konigl, Porzellanmanufaktur
from 1857." A rare piece of porcelain by one of the premier makers in
superb original condition!

Important Pair of Sevres Cassoulettes Important Pair of Sevres Porcelain and Bronze Mounted
Cassoulettes with an unusual feature option whereby the tops can be either a finial top insert or an open holder for a candle. (There is a delightful subtle patination difference between two choices,
as the previous owner must have prefered the choice of the top to
be an finial insert, since it is darker in patination, than the opposite side gilt on the candle holder part.) The decorations are incredible with bronze satyr mask handles, hand paintings on the front and back (see photos for the wonderful detail), stem base with swirl
cobalt and gilt, and tiny jewels with enamel. The underneath bases
have old felt and beneath that, a chamfered circular wooden support (no signature found). The quality, original condition
and attention to detail is phenomenal!

Tiffany Royal Worcester Bird Dish Extraordinary Royal Worcester dish that was sold by
Tiffany, New York.
The dish features delicate gold painted leaves and flowers around the edge that drape
into the center where
there is a male mallard duck emerging from the marsh weeds (slight
normal wear on
the gold trim edge.) The back is signed "Tiffany & Co, New York,
Royal Worcester, England." Notice the rare feature of a bird's head formed on the
edge of the dish with its wings framing
the perimeter of the bowl!

Fabulous Victorian porcelain charger Fabulous Victorian porcelain charger. The outer rim is red
with a gold design. The inner rim is a band of rich gold with a raised
design (note that some of the raised gold has been worn off in several
places). The middle of the charger is a well executed painting of a
gentleman signed by the artist "C. Heer." The Austrian maker's mark is on
the back. A very fine piece of Victorian porcelain!

early part of the twentieth century. The were retailed by B. Altman & Co,
NYC. Benjamin Altman opened his store on 5th Ave in 1906. The urns have a
rich cobalt blue background with gold decoration. There are two painted
courting scenes on the front and back of each urn. They are signed by the
artist "Forst." They have fancy brass mounts and handles. A very
decorative pair!
