Sterling Repousse Inkwell Lovely sterling silver desk floral repousse inkwell. It has a
weighted bottom. At some point it would have had a sterling plate covering
the bottom with the maker's name on it. It was most likely made by Kirk &
Son Inc, Baltimore. It is also missing - as is commonly the case - the
small glass insert. This is a great piece for the sterling or inkwell
collector!

There is petite etching around the top of the holder with cupids riding in wagons and chasing butterflies. The base is signed "MFD & Plated by Reed & Barton 355." Whiting Sterling Jar Fancy sterling covered jar by Whiting Mfg. Co, New York. The
top has a monogram and the date June 23, 1892. It was used as either a
small tea caddy or dresser box. A lovely little piece of Victorian silver -
would make a lovely gift!

Signed Meriden Silver Plate Relish Set Victorian Silver Plate Relish Set with the original stand and original two delicate
pressed glass jars with covers. The loop handle has a cupid with spear suspended in the middle!
The sides are nicely decorated and the base is signed "Meriden B. Company." There are two holders on each side for utensils. The two forks shown are replacements that fit well. Of course this piece was originally for relishes but could hold anything of your choice!

Victorian Silverplated Cruet Set Pretty Silverplated Victorian cruet set with the five original bottles
on a pivoting platform. Two bottles have their original teardrop stoppers, two
bottles are for shaking (with tiny holes in the silver covers) and one small relish
bottle has a slot for a spoon. Cruet set features delicate open floral work on the center handle and more
fine work with birds and flowers on the rim and base. There is no signature and
the silver is in the original patina.

Gorham Sterling Five Piece Teaset Five Piece Solid Sterling signed Gorham Teaset with hallmarks
in the Plymouth pattern. A very graceful and elegant set in fine original condition
with no monograms. The creamer and waste bowl retail their original interior
gold wash. The coffee pot, teapot, and sugar bowl have a lovely shaped top
finial handle. There also is quite a bit of sterling here, nearly 70 troy ounces!

with raised relief flowers in the bowl of the spoon and delicate scrolling

Sterling and has hallmarks for the famous Reed & Barton company,
Taunton, MA. Enamel and sterling serving spoons are both rare and fine
examples of the craftsmanship of the late Victorian era.

that is etched with scrolling, leaves, and flowers. This large bowl is very
heavy and weighs about 28 troy ounces. It is signed on the back "Gorham Sterling"
with the pattern name. This bowl is a beautiful serving piece along with being
a significant investment in solid sterling silver!

woman with flowing hair and outstretched arms amongst flowers. The hand mirror
is in the best condition and retains much of the original silver on the frame (the mirror glass
for reflection is aged.) The matching hairbrush and dresser jar show wear and small
dents. A useful Victorian accessory set in a beautiful design.

Outstanding English Silver Basket Outstanding English Victorian Silver Centerpiece Basket with exquisite floral
clusters around the interior of the bowl (see photos for close ups). The rim is also
decorated with scrolling and petite bouquets of flowers. The handle has swirled
openwork with one very old small repair underneath (expertly done years ago, indicative
of the importance of this piece). The craftsmanship and attention to detail in this
beautiful basket is some of the best work we have seen. There are six hallmarks on
the back rim (shown in photo).

Unique Squirrel Silver Plate Nut Candy Dish Unique Victorian silver plated nut or candy dish. It has an open work design for the feet with oak leaves, acorns and squirrels. This must have been part of a registered collection at one point - there are numbers engraved and crossed out on the bottom. There is also a very faded and illegible signature on the bottom. A interesting and utilitarian piece of fancy Victorian silver!

Fifteen Piece Cadwell Sterling Silver Set Fabulous fifteen piece set of sterling silver. The set
consists of six tazzas, eight small plates and one serving plate. This was
likely used as a serving set with each of the pieces having a recessed
center. The outside edges of each piece have a very fancy reticulated floral
border with lovely incising and a monogram in the middle. This set is
extremely fine quality and heavy. The set was made by "J. E Caldwell,
Philadelphia." One plate has the inscription "1897-1911." They are part of
an important collection of sterling silver from an estate in Chatham,
Massachusetts.
Circa: 1910
Dimensions: 13.5" Diameter of large plate, 6.5" Diameter of smaller plates,
7" diameter of tazzas.

Derby Silver Plated Equestrian Box Fabulous Victorian silver plated cigarette or cigar box made
by Derby Silver Co, 1887 (signed on bottom). The top has a full figure of a
horse and jockey or trainer. There is a lift top compartment on either side
of the horse. The top and sides of the box have a fancy design in the
silver. The box rests on four bun feet. The equestrian motif makes this a
very rare and interesting piece of Victorian silver plate!

Meridan Silver Plated Kettle on Stand Wonderful silver plated Victorian kettle on stand made by
"Meriden Company." The kettle and two goblets are decorated with a
raised
fruit and flower motif. The kettle tilts forward and is porcelain
lined.
It was probably originally used for lemonade or ice tea. There is a
handled
removable bowl on one side that was likely used for lemon wedges.
The sides
of the kettle holder are very fancy with an open work design of a child
picking fruit and a basket. This is a great example of Victorian silver
plate! We are offering it the way it came in. It could be
repolished.
