An early Shaker rocker from Mt. Lebanon, made for use in the community-about 1830. Probably an eldress rocker. The arms have been lowered slightly-reason unknown. Seat has been re-taped. In very good condition. Chair was found in the Enfield, NH community although it was made in Mt. Lebanon, NY

A Shaker rocker from the North Family, Mt. Lebanon. Ash splint seat. ca. 1830. Chair was a gift from a sister in the Mt. Lebanon to a close relative and has never been on the market. A repair to th lower left front post but otherwise in excellent condition.

No.3 Shaker Armed Rocker
No. 3 armed rocker from Mt. Lebanon, NY Shaker community. This is a so-called transitional rocker, c.1870. The posts are the early thin construction and the arms are the early "swallow-tail design. Pommels are large as used on the larger transitional rockers. The seat has been taped over the original with a matching red and black wool tape. Excellent overall condition.

Shaker Boudoir Chair
Excellent original condition. Mt. Lebanon, ca. 1930.Shaker decal on left rear post. Retaped in black and blue narrow wool twill. These were also called dressing chairs and are somewhat rare. A desirable chair for both collector and first time buyer. Seat is 17 inches high, 25 inches to the top of the back rail. Seat is 17 x 13 inches.
