Right hand (platter shaped) shovels coins into his open mouth with his eyes rolling back in his head with the depressing of lever on his back.
Original hand painted red jacket with red bow tie. This bank does not have any over painted areas at all. He has red lips with white teeth.
"JOLLY _ _ _ _ _ _ BANK" PAT MARCH,14,82 raised lettering and date embossed on back of the bank.
Eyes roll back in his head, when lever on his back is depressed, and moves his hand towards his mouth.
Mechanism is in excellent working order.
HEIGHT IS 7 inches.
EXCELLENT ORIGINAL CONDITION WITH NORMAL PAINT LOSES DUE TO HIS AGE.

I have done a little research on this bank and March 14, 1882, # 255,090 , Charles G. Shepard and Peter Adams, Jr.,purchased the patent from the Stevens Company.
