BEAUTIFUL BRASS HAMMERED WMF CIGAR / CIGARETTE CUTTER.
This is a very attractive arts and crafts metalware piece. It is marked on the base with the WMF Würtemburgische Machin Fabrik Beehive with ostrich mark which from my research, this mark was found to be introduced in 1909. It is in great condition. It stands just shy of 6 inches tall and the bulbous base has a diameter of 3 ¾ inches. The diameter of the holes, the larger one a bit more than 3/8 inch and the other one being 5/16 inch. This may have been used for hand rolled cigarettes, as well as cigars. A truly wonderful addition to any tobbacianna collection!
