Hard to realize that this sampler has lasted this long.Dated 1787 and signed by A.BEALE.This Map of ENGLAND is completely hand made on linen and shows the counties of England.Plus it shows the oceans and Channels.ALL ORIGINAL.In my 35 yrs.in the antique business i have never had a sampler of this kind and subject matter.Measures are approx:16 1/2"-20 1/2" without the frame.
