Early Empire 1820’s CHASE LOUNGE/RECAMIER
DAY-BED


Up for sale is this extremely Fine example of AMERICAN craftsmanship at our best.
This hand carved Mahogany Chaise Lounge / Day Bed / Recamier was made in the 1820's-1840's and is in excellent condition.
She now has a crushed burgundy velvet upholstered material and is in good condition but the winning bidder might to change.
 

 


This piece is made of solid mahogany with a hand carved scrolling carved CORNUCOPIA side headrest frame, REEDED scrolled bottom frame and finely hand-carved claw feet.

Measures are approx: 84 inches long-36 inches wide.

CONDITION…EST…RE-UPHOLSTERED ABOUT 20 YEARS AGO..ONE CHIP OFF OF A TOE ON THE INSIDE FOOT….SOLID AS A ROCK..!!!
