Originally, the Ordinary and Standard Grades were done in cast Iron; the Extra Grades, Ladies desks, and Superior Grades were done in Berlin Bronze. Thus, when we decided to make the molds for the entire Wooton line, we thought it best to cast in bronze as it looks much better when placed on the desks. However, we realize that not all desks need complete replacements, so we will plate over the bronze (which makes a much clearer and better surface) to accomodate those who prefer cast iron. A small charge will be assessed for this extra service. |
