| The Chiquita sets of children's dishes was made for J Pressman Company of New York. Although it's always been assumed to be an Akro Agate production, new research points to Alley Agate as the company of origin. Pictured is an assortment of items in transparent cobalt and also the hard to find baked on colors. The pattern is based on the Roman Rosette pattern that was produced by Sandwich Glass Works of Cape Cod. Avon continued to market the pattern until it was discontinued in 1993.
