This English White Ironstone ewer has a lovely shape with a scalloped rim, ridged design and squared handle.

Bottom stamp is shown and dates this ewer to c.1890
This English White Ironstone Ewer is in very good condition no cracks or chips or crazing. It has a bright and shiny glaze. It does have on small spot of cobalt under the glaze. Cobalt is used in the process of making white ironstone to make it white.
