There is a mark on the base that dates this compote to the late 1800's
This Haviland Limoges Compote is in very good condition with no chips or cracks or crazing. There is a glaze pop on the inside of this compote and several pin sized dark spots common in antique Haviland china. There is also a bit of discoloration on the underside of the compote - see pictures
It is held together with a bolt through the bottom.
