VICTORIAN LOCKET FOUR CHAIN NECKLACE


This very special Victorian necklace features four styles of chain and a lovely oval locket.

I have been told that the locket dates c.1920 and the four chain necklace dates c.1900 - 1915.

There is no identifying mark.

The four chains are each a different design and there is a lovely filigree clasp.

The locket has a charming openwork design and opens and closes securely.

This antique locket measures 1 5/8 inches by 1 1/4 inches.

The chains measure 36 1/2 inches, 33 1/4 inches, 24 inches, 17 3/4 inches.

This necklace and its locket were not originally together but since this is the way I received them I am keeping them together. They do work well together and make a beautiful Victorian necklace.
