The cake plate measures 9 inches across, plates measure 6 3/8 inches, saucers 5 3/4 inches across and cups are 3 inches across at the top.

The back mark is shown and dates this compote to the c.1878 by the registry mark.

This brown transferware compote has a hairline of about 4 inches from the rim see picture.

This pedestal compote is a lovely piece of antique brown transferware enen with this flaw!

A Lavender Blue Transferware Border Encircles This Drainer

This transferware drainer has a shallow chip under the rim that is barely visible from the top and also a hairline through the center - see pictures. The hairline has been identified with a marker to make it visible for the picture and of course has been removed.

Even with these flaws this drainer displays beautifully. The color is quite special!
