This 19th century white ironstone sauce tureen has a lovely embossed leaf design on both sides alongside the specially shaped handles.

Its body is divided into sections and it stands on a pedestal base.

The leaf design is repeated on the lid around its most unique finial.

Back stamp is shown and dates it to c.1858.

This White Ironstone sauce tureen is in very good antique condition with no cracks or chips - there is fine light crazing on the lid only. The finial has been reattached.

It is in very good antique condition no cracks or chips or crazing. There are a couple of grains of kiln dust - one on the lid and one on the side.

This early English White Ironstone covered tureen has a lovely melon ribbed shape resulting in delightful scallops on both the lid rim and the top rim of the tureen. There is a pattern wheat embossing on both pieces around and on the handles. The lid also features embossed daisies along with the wheat encircling its edge . A beautiful pattern!

Back stamp is shown and dates this piece to c.1890

It is in very good antique condition with no cracks or chips or crazing. There are a couple of tiny specks of kiln dust and the 3 stilt marks are visible inside the tureen.

This very special antique tureen measures 10 3/4 inches including the handles.
