This 19 century English white ironstone coffee pot has an eight sided paneled shape and a cluster of grapes as a finial along with grape detail around the spout and leaves around the specially shaped handle

This white ironstone coffee pot is in very good antique condition with no cracks or chips or crazing. There is some light discoloration around the rim of the lid (inside and outside), the rim of the pot and the spout. There is a very small scrape and a dark pin spot near the rim of the pot - see pictures

This 19th century white ironstone sauce tureen has a lovely embossed leaf design on both sides alongside the specially shaped handles.

Its body is divided into sections and it stands on a pedestal base.

The leaf design is repeated on the lid around its most unique finial.

Back stamp is shown and dates it to c.1858.

This White Ironstone sauce tureen is in very good antique condition with no cracks or chips - there is fine light crazing on the lid only. The finial has been reattached.

Lovely Antique Classic Shape!

The impressed back stamp is shown and dates this piece to 1864.

This White Ironstone Covered Tureen is in very good condition with the only flaw being a tiny one on the outside rim of the bowl - see picture.

There are also a few tiny specks of kiln dust inside the bowl and a bit of very light discoloration on the bottom rim of the lid - see pictures.

This English White Ironstone Covered Tureen is really in very good condition - it is the desired bluish white and the glaze is bright and shiny.

It stands a little over 10 inches with the lid and the bowl measures about 9 1/2 inches at the top.

This White Ironstone Tureen has a special embossed floral pattern - forget me not - covering a large portion of both the bowl and lid.

The finial is an elegant flower.

Back stamp is shown and dates this pitcher to the late 1800's.

This English White Ironstone tureen is in very good condition with only minor flaws. On the lid - a stain on the under side of the lid of about 1 1/4 inches - a tiny bit of rust on the finial - a small (less than 1/4 inch ) scrape on the edge of the lid. On the bowl - some wear / roughness on both handles.

It measures about 11 3/4 inches across including the handles.

This 19th century white ironstone tureen has a lovely curved shape and sits on a pedestal. It has a quartered pattern and is topped with a large cluster of berries,.

Back stamp is shown and dates it to c.1850's.

This White Ironstone tureen has a chip of about 1/2 inch mostly on the underside of one handle which tends to be lost in the handle detail - see pictures. There is also a faint hairline of about an inch on the edge of the lid - too faint to picture.

This 19th century white ironstone tureen has a classic shape and sits on a pedestal. It has a shape with distinctive curves and ridges and a beautiful scalloped top rim.

ENGLISH WHITE IRONSTONE COVERED TUREEN VIRGINIA SHAPE

Early English Antique White Ironstone Covered Tureen

Virginia Shape

This white ironstone tureen has a curved panel design creating a special shape to the bowl ending with an eight sectioned scalloped pedestal base and also a scalloped top rim. The lid repeats this curved panel pattern and is topped with an artichoke finial.

There is an impressed bottom stamp that is barely readable which dates this piece to c.1855.

This English White Ironstone covered tureen has several flaws but even with these flaws it is a special piece of antique ironstone.

The lid has 2 small pieces of kiln debris on the edge. The bowl has a 5/8 inch chip to the bottom of one of the scallops at its base. There is also a discolored split in the seam of about 1 1/2 inch which is not seen on the inside. The inside rim of the bowl has several chips which also have some discoloration. There is also a very small flake to the outside rim of the bowl. The outside of the bowl has some cobalt splotches. These flaws are pictured.

The glaze is bright and shiny and the pattern is sharply defined.
