Persian Rug Pictorial Carpet 1920
Outstanding & unique this old Kerman pictorial rug circa 1920.
This rug is so incredible, that I hardly know where to begin to describe it .It is a pictorial rug & every inch of this rug has a different pattern. I would so love to know the story it tells. This rug is hand knotted in a fine weave & the overall look of the design to me is quite primitive .The condition is very good ,having only extremely minimal wear .The colors are vivid & quite elaborate. This rug obviously was well taken care of & it is very clean. Some of the designs on the rug are of a decorated pottery vessel, a city on a hill, a man that appears to be a schollar,birds animals, a temple, mythological symbols & so much more ,this rug is simply mind blowing! It measures aprox 13’ x 9’7".

Persian Rug Hamadan Small
Super nice Oriental rug, A Persian Hamadan about 25 years old. Fully hand knotted & in very good condition. Having only a very minor amount of normal wear, It has good pyle& a good amount of fringe remaining. This rug is nice & clean & came from a very fine estate here in Camden Maine. It measures 3’x4’The colors are very pleasing ,very natural.
